In her MA graduation work from the Stockholm University of the Arts, choreographer Ursula Nill proposes a body that moves through space and is at the same time space. A body as an instrument in exposing a landscape and simultaneously sounding out its geography. A body whose movements trace immaterial, inner and tangible space in equal measures. A body whose physicality becomes the staging ground for stories and encounters to unfold and be taken apart...
By continually negotiating and questioning memories and impressions that manifest themselves in the body ›SCHICHTEN‹ blurs the boundaries between the acts of observing and creating reality.
