In parallel to their site specific performances of ›Field Works-hotel‹ at the Maritim Hotel Gelsenkirchen, Heine Avdal and Yukiko Shinozaki, alias fieldworks, will be working on their new creation ›distant voices‹ during a weeklong residency at PACT Zollverein. At the end of the week, the general public is warmly invited to join the artists in PACT’s foyer for a first insight into their creative process. In dialogue with the visitors, the artist duo will look at and question conventional spatial, physical and behavioral relationships between audience and performers.
