Geumhyung Jeong
Geumhyung Jeong creates work at the intersection of choreography, performance and visual art and is one of South Korea's most idiosyncratic and advanced artistic voices. She studied acting at Hoseo University in Asan, dance and performance at the National University of the Arts and animation film at the Korean Academy of Film in Seoul. International museums, festivals and theatres regularly present her works, e.g. the Kunsthalle in Basel, Tate Modern in London, the New Museum in New York, the Delfina Foundation in London and the Kunstenfestivaldesarts in Brussels. In October 2014 she performed ›CPR Practice‹ at PACT taking up the theme of the relationship between the human body and its environment, which is expressed through the one-sided interaction of the dancer with a dummy. In 2021 Geumhyung Jeong presents her latest work ›TEST RUN‹.
