WHY WE LOVE ACTION

  • Tue 13.03.07 20 h

Stuntwomen are always doubles, their bodies and actions are fully present but their identities are hidden behind the character they are standing in for. However, the moment the stunt double is needed is also the moment when a characters strengths and weaknesses become visible and exposed and we start to appreciate the depths of the figure being doubled.

What would happen to the dramaturgy of a movie if it was made without any ›real characters‹ but only with stunt women?
