›The Polarity Party‹ is the result of a remarkable collaboration. Dana Caspersen is a highly regarded conflict mediator who has been at home on international stages as a dancer and choreographer for decades. The MichaelDouglas Kollektiv, founded in Cologne in 2009, is known for a choreographic practice that is open to collective process and interdisciplinary thinking.
›The Polarity Party‹ is a new immersive and participatory event which takes on the quality of a game inviting participants to consider why and where polarization appears in ourselves and our society. What role do we play as individuals and communities in the destruction or creation of connection? What mechanisms promote or abate social polarization?
