As the conquering hero of the Wild West, the cowboy is an archetypal American symbol of the individual that manipulates, controls and uses his environment. In ›The Host‹, American choreographer Andros Zins-Browne questions the world we are living in today and the lack of ecological courage in his homeland. In a pleasant post-apocalyptic scenario flavored with slapstick and an overdose of testosterone, his cowboys battle to hold their ground while their surroundings seem to be turning against them.
