»In a sense, our desire is never properly our own, but is created through fantasies that are caught up in cultural ideologies rather than material sexuality. That which we may believe to be most private and rebellious (our desire) is, in fact, regulated and constructed by structures of social production.« to come considers how relationships between bodies are organised according to structures that cannot always be detected or seen, yet produce specific patterns of behaviour, forms of expression and exchange.
