After the first edition in January in Paris, the temporary study and work group Feldstärke International 09 will focus their research on the terrain around PACT Zollverein which is housed in the former pithead baths at the Zeche Zollverein colliery. The 48 students from various disciplines and art schools in North Rhine-Westphalia, Paris and Los Angeles will bring their experiences, research results and insights from the first edition in Paris to Essen to resume and continue their shared theoretical explorations and practical work in small groups. The goal is once again to use the time and new location for discussions and continuing to develop new artistic, cultural and institutional relationships.
