Sprungbrett: Lihito Kamiya & Bianca Mendonça

In the context of ›Sprungbrett‹, a pilot project initiated by tanz nrw, two NRW based artists, Lihito Kamiya and Bianca Mendonça, were each invited to take up a three week research residency at PACT supported by an artistic mentor of their choice.  During tanz nrw 15, both artists will share the results of their working processes in a short 15 minute showing.


Lihito Kamiya studied Documentary Film in his home country of Japan before moving to Germany to study Physical Theatre and Choreography at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. In NRW, he has notably performed and danced in works by Felix Bürkle.


Born in Brazil, Bianca Mendonça has worked as a choreographer in Germany since 2009. She is currently studying Dance Dissemination in Cologne.
