Since 2002, PACT’s hugely popular Atelier series offers emerging and established artists from NRW, Germany and abroad a chance to present both completed works and works in progress, research projects, ideas or points of departure, during a shared evening length programme which traditionally takes over the whole house.

This special Atelier edition is devised and hosted by HOOD, a collective of eight international artists who are part of a fellowship programme at PACT since 2016. 

HOOD’s Atelier is an open invitation to enter a shared space, including both individual and common projects exploring formats such as performance, interview, discussion, installation, philosophy and dance.  The aim of the event is to foster communication and exchange, to forge dialogue between creative and critical practices, between thoughts and actions.

In customary Atelier style, visitors are invited to encounter the diverse artistic positions proposed by HOOD at their own time and pace during the course of the evening.
