SUSA

SUSA is an architecture studio founded by sisters Suzan and Sara Ibrahim. Their practice merges rigorous research with material experimentation, grounding complex forms in social, cultural, and ecological contexts. With roots in Malmö, Baghdad, and Toronto, they embrace hybridity as both method and sensibility when designing for the built environment. SUSA foregrounds a contextual approach to design, working across exhibitions, publications, and public art. Research-led, iterative, and generative, their work seeks adaptive and meaningful responses to the environments and communities they engage.
