Alex Baczyński-Jenkins

Engaging with queer affect, embodiment, and relationality, Alex Baczyński-Jenkins' work centers on the relational dynamics of the physical world, exploring its fleeting subtleties through performance and deploying choreographic methodologies to render the nuances of interdependence into more perceptible and sensual forms.

In his new piece, themes of finitude give rise to a choreography abounding with intensity. Emotions like elation, horror, and desire flow through the performers, intertwining gestures, movement, and expressions across time into a dizzying, interconnected dance.
