An explosive narrative unfolds around a colorful-smoking cardboard house, its inhabitants and the neighborhood: an elegant walking table in high heels, a man who just wants to take out the rubbish, a frustrated fuse box and a very long pair of pants play out big and small dramas with varying degrees of potential for disaster.

The extraordinarily creative theatre maker Miet Warlop stages a highly aesthetic, bizarre performance cartoon full of slapstick and humor, depicting the failure of a community. For over 20 years, Miet Warlop has been gracing stages and gallery spaces throughout Europe with her absurdly colourful characters, lively objects, and spectacles of form and colour. One of her early works that gained international attention in 2009 is called ›SPRINGVILLE. 12‹ Years later, Warlop revisits and breathes new life into her iconic piece under the title ›AFTER ALL SPRINGVILLE‹
