How to get to PACT Zollverein
With the local public transport
You can reach PACT Zollverein by public transport using tram line 107 via the stops ‘Zollverein’, ‘Abzweig-Katernberg’ and ‘Zollverein-Nord’. You can also reach the ‘Zollverein-Nord’ stop via bus line 183 and regional train RB32. The stops ‘Zollverein’, ‘Abzweig-Katernberg’ and ‘Zollverein-Nord’ are barrier-free. With the car
Please enter the address ‘Bullmannaue 20A, 45327 Essen’ into your navigation device for your visit. You can reach PACT Zollverein by car via the A40 (Essen-Frillendorf exit) and via the A42 (Gelsenkirchen-Hessler exit).
Parking spaces
Parking directly at the building is only possible to a limited extent. Alternatively, we recommend the free car park A2 on the grounds of the Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex. Please note that car park A2 consists of two parking areas that are not connected in the middle. The walk from car park A2 to PACT Zollverein takes approx. 5 minutes.
Gastronomy at PACT Zollverein
Delicious food and drinks both before and after our performances, as well as during our platforms and symposia, have always been an integral and welcoming part of the PACT experience. After bidding farewell to Wims Kochwerk at the beginning of 2025, we embarked on a new culinary journey with Malte Colsman. Having grown up in gastronomy and with recent culinary stations on Spiekeroog and in Italy, he's serving a fine assortment of light meals, snacks, and beverages at our foyer bar in accompaniment to each of our performances.
The venue opens one hour before the start of each performance. For tours and events with free admission, the catering facilities are open from the specified event time.

With local public transport
You can get to WerkStadt by public transport using tram line 107 or bus line 170 via the stop ‘Essen Katernberger Markt’. Alternatively, you can get to WerkStadt via the ‘Zollverein-Nord’ stop, which is served by bus line 183 and regional train RB32.
