Eva Meyer-Keller

Eva Meyer-Keller, who last appeared at PACT Zollverein in spring 2012 in her cooking show performance ›Cooking Catastrophes‹, quite literally takes the strings into her own hands in her new project ›Pulling Strings‹. Centre stage here is held by an eclectic mix of commonplace and normally unseen theater objects such as gaffer tape, extension cables, a microphone, bucket, tea bags, or a broom which are attached to threads and set into motion by the performers. What at first glance appears simple turns out to be a complex feat of imagination inspiring intricacy.
