In April 2013 artist Thomas Lehmen set out from PACT Zollverein on a solo motorcycle journey around the world with a planned duration of several years. In direct collaboration with people he encountered underway, Lehmen developed a series of ‘reciprocal gifts’ in the form of short dance works, performances and other communal activities. Before resuming his travels in South America, Thomas Lehmen returns to PACT to give an account of some of his stations to date in 26 countries on three continents.
