›Flow‹ (working title) is a new stage performance from Kate McIntosh that dives into the curious experience of collective emotion – premiering at PACT Zollverein in autumn 2026. McIntosh treats performance as a public gathering, with a sharp focus on the live connection between people. For ›Flow‹ she proposes a theatrical experiment – inviting audiences to engage their senses while critically reflecting on how collective feeling is shared, shaped or politicised. Known for her vivid stage imagery and direct audience connection, McIntosh plays with late-night glitz to spark and interrogate these questions. After several years of making immersive productions, she returns with ›Flow‹ to a traditional stage with seated audience.
