What does it mean to grow old as a woman in a society that extols youthfulness as the norm?
Eva Meyer-Keller’s ›Turn the P/Age‹ transports the viewer into a space between a laboratory, an anatomical theatre and an art installation, where narratives about different experiences of femininity, visibility and physical transformation unfold. Four cis and trans* performers come together there: amidst medical instruments, filled test tubes and dissected fruit, they weave personal stories together with cultural and medical history, sound and movement, with humour and poetic power.
