Susanne Linke's autobiography unites German dance tradition with the development of modern dance theatre. Having trained with Mary Wigman in Berlin and at the Folkwang Academy in Essen, she rapidly gained international recognition with her work and established herself as a multi-award winning dance theatre protagonist, performer and choreographer. On the occasion of Susanne Linke's 60th birthday, The.Lab art & media Berlin host a celebratory evening in her honour. Following a film presentation offering an insight into Susa's prolific artistic career, many of her friends and past and present colleagues from the world of dance will take part in a birthday Gala performance.
