When I dance for you and you just don’t feel it, who failed? In ›Service und Gefühl‹ (Service and Emotion), Elsa Artmann explores the connection between emotion, dance and care work. The performance is based on conversations between the artists and people in caring professions. The performers try to feel intensely and trigger feelings; in a montage of dance, music and language, the piece unites working and everyday realities that are shaped by the more or less successful regulation of emotions.
