Türen auf mit der Maus 2026

PACT Zollverein was once the washhouse of the Zollverein colliery, where up to 3,000 miners washed every day. Today, artists from all over the world work here. As part of WDR's ›Türen auf mit der Maus‹, PACT is handing the stage over to the next generation. Children up to the age of twelve can enjoy a varied programme of dance, acrobatics and movement – with music and stage lighting: The acrobats of the dance company Overhead Project will present their participatory circus performance ›1000 Faces‹ at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. on the main stage. In their workshop ›Wie darf ich dich tragen?‹, children (and their parents) can explore different ways of carrying and being carried together, based on the principles of partner acrobatics. Creative craft activities await in the foyer, and the café stays open all day.
