Tel Aviv, New York. Brussels, Reykjavík. Singapore – NRW. After numerous performances on three continents, deufert&plischke are bringing ›Just in Time‹ to six tanz nrw festival cities. In Bonn, Essen, Cologne, Krefeld, Mülheim an der Ruhr and Viersen, a variety of different people will have the opportunity to join workshops where they can share their dance experience, move their bodies collectively and subsequently compose a letter to dance. This serves to document the experience by providing snapshots of participants’ encounters with this art form, as they are asked to write or draw their favourite movements. These personal dance moments are collected and will culminate in a final ball with local artists and a DJ, who will draw this year’s edition of the festival tanz nrw 21 to a close at PACT Zollverein in Essen. With this ongoing project, which kicked off in 2016, deufert&plischke once again transcend the boundaries of dance and theatre while inviting you to share in the experience in your own personal way. An experiment that playfully builds bridges between dance communities worldwide.
