PACTPACKAGE for Students:How does it work?
PACTPackages take the form of workshops, artist discussions or open rehearsal visits in connection with a selected performance on our programme. The PACTPackage is primarily conceived for students and open to others on request.

SAT 25.05. PACTPackage:17 – 19 h Workshop with caner teker20 h Performance ›east of what?‹
In ›east of what?‹ the vibrations of the shimmy, one of the basic movements of West Asian dances, give rise to a continuous variation of movement. Interwoven with elements from Muay Thai, the piece sheds light on affiliations beyond fixed identities, while also exploring different memory practices. In addition to insights into their movement research, caner’s PACTPackage workshop offers a queer and trauma-friendly introduction to martial arts.
The workshop will be held in German and English. Please bring comfortable sportswear. Boxing gloves, wraps, and knee pads are recommended but not essential for taking part.
PACT’s foyer will be open to participants between the end of the workshop and the start of the performance.
