French dancer and choreographer, Emmanuel Eggermont names »the Zone« depicted in Andrei Tarkovsky’s film ›Stalker‹ an area where the normal laws of physics no longer apply, as a reference for his work T-Wall. Eggermont’s trio delicately confronts the body with the echoes of such real existent spaces surrounding Chernobyl or between North and South Korea and, with subtle precision, stages constantly changing energetic circumstances.
