In this celebration, rooted in colonial influences and reinvented meanings, Estefania Alvarez Ramírez and Luisa Fernanda Alfonso explore how traditions can be both restrictive and liberating.

The two Colombian artists, who live in Europe, approach this theme from the perspective of migrants. Their friendship has fueled their creative process: with trust, care, and playfulness, they explore new forms of female representation. Through dance and music, they transform the stage into a hybrid space where excess, emotion, nostalgia, and absence intertwine.
