How do we shape our local coexistence and what initiatives can we develop to promote an active neighbourhood that strives together for wishes and ideas?

In ›The City Meets for a Discussion‹, WerkStadt regularly becomes a place of exchange on the concerns of residents, city planners and the city of Essen.

As part of ›The City Meets for a Discussion‹ on FR 06.04, we invite you to join us in watching a documentary film about the struggle for open space and living space, agriculture in solidarity and Refugees' Kitchen:

›The Opposite of Grey‹ (Matthias Coers, 2017)

Afterwards can discuss current topics concerning living together and we collect your ideas and wishes for the WerkStadt, the neighbourhood or the city.

We will also tell you what has happened recently at the WerkStadt and what ideas there are for the future - because you are invited to help uns shaping the programme!
