Asad Ali Zulfiqar & Mandeep Raikhy – Unpartitioning Bodies

04.09.26
Format
During a month-long residency at PACT Zollverein, queer artists Asad Ali Zulfiqar and Mandeep Raikhy from either side of the Indo-Pakistan border explored how the 1947 Partition continues to inhabit the body as memory, fear, and trauma. Treating skin as a border, their collaboration investigates whether intimate physical contact can dismantle the boundary of the "other" and loosen the grip of national and individual identities.
