Tänzer des Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch

From its very beginning, PACT Zollverein has enjoyed close links to the Wuppertaler Tanztheater in a variety of contexts: Ensemble members have taught classes and workshops here and, in 2004 and again in 2008, PACT Zollverein was a partner venue to the International Dance Festival (ITF) under the direction of Pina Bausch. Now 12 dancers from the current ensemble are bringing their own first short choreographies to PACT’s stage. After a short rehearsal period and in the tradition of the Atelier series, PACT’s experimental platform for the arts, they will present a diverse evening length programme with a work in process flair comprising solos and group pieces.
