PACT Zollverein invites you to its third Summer Festival in and around the former pithead baths at the Zollverein World Heritage site!

During this year’s action packed programme you can put the creative potential in destruction to the test in an interactive installation by Kate McIntosh, enjoy a vibrant on stage take on competitive sports by Albert Quesada, experience the fascinating powers of light and darkness in the company of Naoko Tanaka, succumb on Saturday night to the humorous virtuosity of the extraordinary duo Jonathan Burrows and Matteo Fargion or make a family occasion of it on Sunday afternoon with a warm and engaging performance about brotherhood and family disputes by Pieter and Jakob Ampe.

Before and after the performances and (live) installations you can enjoy ice-creams, sorbets, cocktails, barbequed food (on Sunday afternoon), music and fun and games outside on PACT’s terrace or, in case of rain, in PACT’s foyer.

On Sunday afternoon we’re again offering a special free service for parents: a qualified nursery worker will be on hand to look after and entertain small visitors between the ages of 2 and 6 while their parents attend a performance. As these child care places are limited, please register well in advance by calling PACT’s press and public relations department on 0201.289 47-10 /-20.
