9. ESSENER JAZZFESTIVAL JAZZ OFFENSIVE ESSEN (JOE)

The jazz festival JOE, a favourite among the regional festival scene, turns nine years in 2005. The organizers, Jazz Offensive Essen, have found a new host for the festival: the world heritage site Zeche Zollverein. PACT Zollverein will be the focal point for a programme, which juxtaposes international stars with the creative potential of the local scene. They will dive into various musical genres and bring them to life.
