The tiled foyer at PACT Zollverein: It is a bright, long hallway with large windows on the left-hand side. Several people are walking in different directions in the hallway. Some are wearing colorful clothes, including a child in a red dress and an adult wearing a black hat. Some items of clothing are hanging on the left-hand wall or lying on a bench. The atmosphere is lively and friendly.

What does it take to prepare a show? And how does it feel like to stand on stage? On ›Open House Day‹, children and their families can take a look behind the scenes at PACT and discover all kinds of exciting things. Join our technical team as they reveal many secrets about wind and fog machines, spotlights, and sound effects. Young visitors can have their faces painted and pose for a souvenir photo in matching costumes.

Behind every door in the former pithead bath, there are games, crafts, and hands-on activities to enjoy, and in the foyer, there is a gastronomic offer. The WerkStadt team will be also at PACT on site, inviting visitors to get to know their work and relax together.
