PACT’s first Spring Festival will be boasting charming performances, fascinating listening experiences and delicious springtime cuisine. All the featured works draw playfully on the power of the audiences’ imagination: trio Phil Hayes, Maria Jerez & Thomas Kasebacher explore, with great enthusiasm and light heartedness, what it really takes for an event to acquire cult status. With their customary irreverent humor, the Finnish collective Oblivia take on the mammoth task of reconciling post modernity’s secret codes with theatricality. Before and after Oblivia you can also join ›John the Houseband‹ for an intimate table concert blurring the boundaries between performance and music. And to round off the weekend, we’re devoting a whole day to the quintessential medium of radio in cooperation with the broadcasting corporation WDR 3. Drop by anytime between 12:00 and 19:00h and experience diverse radio plays and dramas set in varied acoustic situations throughout PACT. Entrance is free and younger visitors can even experiment in making their own radio clips with the help of expert hands from INITIATIVE HÖREN.
