IMPACT24

Every year since 2004, the symposium that is IMPACT has invited practitioners and theorists from the arts and sciences to engage with changing, overarching and complex topics, to pull together their different points of view and to formulate their common concerns.

Our present age is characterised by innumerable social, technological and ecological processes of change and subsequent multiple crises. These are so deeply interwoven that we can no longer confront them one by one but only with an across-the-board interlinking of praxes and protagonists. IMPACT24 asks the question: how can experiences within the arts, technology, urban spaces and the sciences as well as societal fields of knowledge, such as play, sport or crafts, operate and be effective across contexts and disciplines?
