›Figure 8 Race Remix‹ by Maren Strack and post theatre is the second part of ›6-8-10‹, a trilogy about mobility, technology and female pioneers. Revolving around Figure 8 Racing, a motor sport in which crashes are inevitable, and the story of racing car driver Clärenore Stinnes, the first woman to drive around the world (1927 – 1929), › Figure 8 Race Remix‹, deconstructs the fascination for speed in a fast paced and ironic multimedia collage of images, movement, language and noise samples.
The first version of this production was awarded with the Bremer Author Prize 2004.
