After a wonderful hangout last year, Cute Community Radio’s open-air event is returning to the PACT terrace for the summer festival ›Shifting Grounds – IN COMMON‹. For one day, they’ll be moving their familiar studio set-up outdoors to come together and celebrate the fantastic sets by Jilly, Jule, ADJO, and Bamina.

Cute Community Radio is a hybrid space and radio station based in Bochum, dedicated to centering and celebrating migrant and diasporic club and pop culture.

Jilly is a genre-fluid DJ based in Germany, known for blending mostly R&B, hip-hop. Her sets move effortlessly between nostalgic classics and modern sounds, often featuring mashups and edits that connect different genres and moods.

Jule is a DJ from Bochum, a selector and curator with a deep love for sound. Blending Rap, RnB, Neo-Soul, Future Beats, Reggae and all the good stuff in between, her sets are always about the vibe.

ADJO brings vibrant energy to every set, connecting people through music. Her journey began with cassette tapes, recording songs off the radio and piecing together her first mixtapes at home in the late 00‘s. Her genre-fluid selections are shaped by her Togolese roots and a wide range of influences including Neo Soul, Afrobeat(s), House, and Global Dance Music - with a deep love for sounds from the African diaspora.

Bamina is a Cologne based DJ rooted in House Music, moving between Baile Funk, Batida and Afrohouse. Her sets move between moods – always groovy, always made for the dancefloor.
