French choreographer and former 400 meter hurdler Pierre Rigal studied Economics and Cinema before he discovered contemporary dance while working as a video clip and documentary maker. In 2003 he founded compagnie dernière minute  and created his first piece ›érection‹, directed by Aurélien Bory. His dance work is characterised by a pure physical approach.
