Magali Charrier

... is a Brighton based filmmaker. Her training in arts, stage direction, choreography, animation, experimental and traditional filmmaking has led her into developing a very unique cinematographic style and a personal approach to the medium of film and story telling. Her first short film Petite Histoire d'Elle, a dance for camera, won The Pitch Competition during Brighton Festival 2001. Minou her second short supported by South East Dance and South East Arts was premiered at Brighton Festival in May this year where it was warmly received. Minou will soon be screened at the Ultima Festival in Oslo, Norway, the Sitges International Film Festival of Catalonia Spain, The Moving Pictures Festival in Toronto, Canada, and at The Place, Dance on Screen Festival, in London UK. At the IMZ Dance Screen Award (Monaco) in 2002 Minou was the winner for the Best Screen Choreography.Filmographie/Filmography:
