What does one need to survive? Where do everyday needs end and where do possessions become a burden for individuals and their environment? In her uncompromising purist choreography, Liz Konoshita investigates the balancing act between necessity and waste. She examines the body’s relationship to consumption, the tendency to cling to and hoard things and the possibility of rebelling against the seductive power of consumption.
