Frank James Willens
Frank James Willens (US/DE) was born in Los Angeles and studied medicine before changing to dance. He worked with the Kunst-Stoff company in San Francisco and in the production ›NOTRE DAME DE PARIS‹ in Las Vegas and has appeared in films including ›Vanilla Sky‹. In 2002 and 2003 he accompanied two Paul McCartney world tours as rehearsal director and teacher.
In Germany, Frank James Willens took on the co-organisation of the Half Maschine Festival and became involved in the independent dance scene in Berlin. Since 2005, he has worked with Meg Stuart/Damaged Goods, Tomi Paasonen and Felix Ruckert and accompanied projects at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch.
