He graduated from the "Maria Olenawa" state school of classical dance in Rio de Janeiro and broadened his training in contemporary dance in diverse workshops with Denise Namura, Michael Bugdahn, Regina Sauer, Ruth Amarantes and Bernd Marszan. He appeared in various productions in Brazil before joining Rüdiger Schäffer's Brazilian dance group in Dusseldorf in 1998.
