Natasha Hassiotis

... started her life as a professional dance critic in 1992 and still contributes to several newspapers and magazines (TO VIMA, BALLET/TANZ). She was the first in Greece to approach the country's own dance history in a critical way, and used a wide range of media to convey her ideas, including newspapers, magazines, TV and radio. She has translated Nijinsky's Diaries-unexpurgated version, in Greek and has lectured on dance and ancient drama. She is currently teaching Dance History at the State School of Dance (Athens).
