freethought

The freethought collective was founded in 2011 by Irit Rogoff, Stefano Harney, Adrian Heathfield, Massimiliano Mollona, Louis Moreno and Nora Sternfeld. It is involved in public research and the curation concepts that have current urgency. By experimenting with new combinations of criticism and practice in the arts, the collective overrides boundaries between thought, creativity and criticism, and combines them into a supra-linguistic practice that allows a new kind of collaboration with artists, knowledge and producers. For the Bergen Assembly in 2016, freethought developed a local and global survey on ecological, financial, administrative and communicative infrastructures, which were presented in an exhibition programme, publications, discussions and platforms for a period of two years.freethought-collective.org
