| ... is the label of three young authors and directors from Germany and Switzerland (Daniel Wetzel/ Helgard Haug/ Stefan Kaegi), who have gained reputation for their theatre campaigns and actions in public spaces and for directing Ready-Made-Performers in theatre spaces. Their works include "Deutschland 2", in which voters represented and copied their elected representatives in a live doubled hearing of the German Parliament in Bonn, which was presented at the Theater der Welt Festival in 2002, and the observation piece, "Sonde Hannover", shown during Theaterformen 2002. "Shooting Bourbaki. Ein Knabenschiessen" won the Impulse-Preis 2002. Rimini Protokoll were represented with "Deadline" (2003) at the Theatertreffen Berlin 2004. The German Tagesspiegel named this piece the "discovery" of the year's festival. The journal "Theater der Zeit" described the three graduates of the Giessen Institute for Applied Theatre" Studies as the "protagonists and founders of the new reality trends on stage" and the magazine "Theater heute" named them the "up-and-coming directors of the year" in 2003.
