| Kate McIntosh (NZ/BE) is active as an artist in the realms of theatre, performance, and video. The professionally trained dancer has been performing on stages throughout the world since 1995, particularly in the area of dance theatre, including new pieces with Wendy Houstoun (GB), the Meryl Tankard Australian Dance Theatre, Cie Michele Ann de Mey (BE), Random Scream (BE), and Simone Aughterlony (CH).
Since 2000 McIntosh has increasingly been focused on developing her own choreography. Among her most recent works are two solos (›All Natural‹ and ›Loose Promise‹) and a group performance (›Hair From the Throat‹). Kate McIntosh furthermore has directed short videos that have been shown at festivals and exhibitions all over the world.
She is a founding member of a Belgian performance collective and the punk rock band Poni. She has also exhibited on a number of occasions with the Icelandic visual arts group Klink&Bank.
