| Coming from a dance and theatre background, Jule Gartzke first came into contact with the Alexander Technique while she was still studying contemporary dance at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen. Having trained with Chris Stevens and Nadia Kevan, she has been a teacher of the Alexander Technique since 1998. Jule works as a dancer, choreographer and actress for theatre and film. She teaches the Alexander Technique in her own private practice in Essen and holds seminars and workshops worldwide. From 2005-2006 Jule was a member of the board of directors of the German Society for the Alexander Technique (GLAT) and from 2006-2008 a director of the 8th International Congress of the F.M.
