›Meyoucycle‹ is a political science fiction fantasy concert about expression in the age of hyper-capitalism and technological mediation. Personal ads and old-school letters, chat-bots, tweets and untameable rants, poetic terrorism, sound and image collide in a rumination on contemporary and near-future life and the intense forces and interfaces that shape it. Combining music, dance and text, it seems to tell a story set in the near future of a group of poetic terrorists and emotional hackers who have all dropped into anonymity. more ...

According to a recent British study, the ‘National Survey of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyles’ (2014), people in all prosperous nations are having significantly less sex than they did a couple of decades ago. Though sex is omnipresent in our media and in our society, we seem to be doing a lot less of it. We don’t go to bed with each other now, but with our laptops and smartphones. In a play about desire, gratification and abstinence, the Flemish-Dutch actors’ collective Wunderbaum and best-selling author Arnon Grünberg examine clues to the sex of the future. more ...

Constructed around the number five and exploring the body’s relationship to space through simple gestures, he gradually begins to create an intricate floor pattern with chalk, tape and his body. Balanced delicately between the aesthetic influences of minimalism and Oriental ornamentation, the emerging forms appear like an unavoidable consequence of the connection between his physicality and the space. more ...
