Performance in English
In ›Museum of Postmodern Art‹ the international performance group Oblivia set itself a megalomaniac task: to do something that is new. Elegantly and only seemingly disoriented, they wander about our known world as if through a dark theatre. They're not afraid to fall through the trap doors of evolution or look behind the scene of cultural history. They dissect emotional and intellectual concepts alike and dig deep to the roots of language itself. more ...
Performance
In her new production Mette Ingvartsen continues her exploration of staging perceptions and sensations of nature. Her interest in fictionalizing and choreographing natural phenomena started in 2009 with ›Evaporated Landscapes‹. In ›The Artificial Nature Project‹ materials and objects fly through the air creating a landscape in constant transformation. A seemingly peaceful panorama develops in seconds into energetic chaos; a flood wave becomes a storm of confetti whirling through the air, rushing over the stage. more ...
